Asus Zenbook 3 is gorgeous, powerful and the thinnest ultrabook of this time and age
How often do I fall in love with a computer. Not too often, because of my taste for ultrabooks and not all of them have the curves and features that I am looking for. On the top my list had been Apple’s Macbook from the last year, and there wasn’t anything else that I could ever look up to as a replacement, until now.
Asus Zenbook 3 is one of the most gorgeous ultrabooks that I have ever seen. It’s beautifully trimmed and contoured with it’s gold bezels that gives it the premium finish and amazing looks. I must agree that it’s not the first time Asus has surprised me with their design, but it always was the weight and the dimensions that set the device back.
The new Zenbook is a 12.5-inch, 11.9mm thin computer with a weight of just 910g (2 pounds). Apple’S Macbook with 12-inch screen, is 2.03 pounds and 0.52 inches thick.
The Zenbook 3 is made out of aerospace grade aluminum and extremely thin 3mm fan that makes it possible for Asus to build a computer so thin. Also, the new Zenbook has a backlit keyboard like it’s predecessor. So there isn’t a compromise of any kind.
Asus Zenbook 3 is available for $1999 for its top-notch Intel Core i7 processor, 1 Tb of hard-drive and 16 GB of RAM. If this all seems too much for your need, you can also try the $999 version that has 4 GB of RAM, Intel Core i5 processor and 256 GB of SSD.
There is also a fingerprint sensor, Harmon Kardon branded quad-speaker and USB Type-C port for connectivity and charging.
The Zenbook 3 is available in three beautiful colors: glue, rose gold and gray.
